The Internet is a powerful information and entertainment tool, we would expect our customers to use the Internet with respect, courtesy, and responsibility, giving due regard to the rights of other Internet users.

Our acceptable use policy is actively and strictly enforced. Offending content or users are removed from our network, and without refund, usually as soon as they are discovered, although we will always inform you why any action has been taken.

Common sense is the best guide as to what is considered acceptable use, however the following are unacceptable uses.

Illegality
In any form, including but not limited to the unauthorized distribution or copying of copyrighted software or other data, harassment, fraud, trafficking in obscene material.

Undesirable Content
Certain types of content are not allowed on our network. We do not host adult content of any description. Content relating to Hacking, Cracking, Warez and IRC is not allowed. Software downloads may only be hosted if you are the writer and copyright owner of the software, all other software including freeware, shareware and trial software is forbidden. Audio and video downloads may only be hosted if you are the creator and copyright owner of the work. Sites that contain any of the following and anything else decided by Allprohost to be undesirable shall immediately be shut down without written notice to Customer (a) Customer site is found to be a Warez (illegal software), Adult site, links or advertising for an Adult Site, hacker/cracker site, hate site, gambling or Casino sites etc. Allprohost reserves the right to determine and judge in its sole and absolute discretion which site is inappropriate. (b) Customer’s who have incorrect or bad scripts running on shared servers that result in increased CPU usage, slow down of the server(s) and/or stoppage of the server will have their sites shut down immediately until the problem is corrected. Allprohost will not be held responsible in any way for the downtime associated with Customer’s bad scripts that require closure of the responsible site, nor will any financial remuneration or refund be issued for such a closure. Allprohost will not tolerate violation of Canadian/U.S. export restrictions, harassment, fraud, trafficking in obscene material, drug dealing, gambling/casino sites and other illegal activities. Net abuse, including but not limited to activities such as using a non-existent email return address on a commercial solicitation, spamming (sending unsolicited advertising to numerous email addresses or newsgroups and/or generating a significantly higher volume of outgoing email than a normal user),

Bulk Email
The use of our network to send bulk email whether opt-in or otherwise, and the use of bulk email to promote a site on our network is strictly forbidden.

Misuse Of Resources
Including but not limited to employing applications which consume excessive CPU time, memory or storage space. Chat/IRC, web proxy and mailing list scripts are not allowed on our network under any circumstances. Streaming media can be a drain on web server resources and as such is not allowed. CGI based message forums which use flat file databases are often found to use excessive system resources, to avoid disappointment please use a PHP/ASP message forum.

If you are unsure about content you intend to place on our network, please check with us before you do. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes acceptable use.

Privacy Policy

Our customer's privacy is extremely important to us. We strongly believe in individual's rights to privacy and that their personal information is not something that should be treated as a commodity.

We will never share your personal information with any third parties without your permission unless required to do so by law. Your email addresses are will not be sold.
Our Acceptable Usage Policy prohibits our customers from sending unsolicited bulk commercial email (aka "spam") using our services. If it is brought to our attention that one of our customers is violating this policy, we take steps to stop them and ensure it doesn't happen again. We also do everything we can to prevent non-customers from using our email servers for the purpose of sending spam

All client information such as email, phone numbers, addresses, etc is used only for internal purposes ONLY. This contact information is used to contact you when necessary, announcements, and our newsletter. Financial information that is collected is used to bill you for products and services and is not stored by us.
